Nikki Thapa is a Multimedia Producer by profession.
She founded Healing Hands Nepal ( निको पर्ने हाथहरू नेपाल ) in the year 2015 after the massive earthquake hit Nepal. She & her sister Priti worked with innumerable National and International Health workers directly at the severely damaged area immediately after Earthquake. Their goal was solely to establish and maintain sustainable trauma reduction programs that brought healing, resilience and peace to all communities impacted by the natural and human-created disaster, violence and conflict. This, on the ground experience and poorly distributed Health Organization borne the urge to work in the Health Sector in her despite having no health practice license. She basically formed this organization to bridge the gaps, usually very long, between the people in remote areas and health practitioners.
She dedicates HHN to her late Father Mr. Pralad Thapa, who was helping her to establish it but unfortunately couldn’t see it to the end when he lost his acute battle to Brain Stroke in 13-August-2015.
