A healthy smile reflects a healthy environment. I always wanted to work in the health sector. I took an exam for both MBBS and BDS and passed both, yet my first preference was MBBS although I was applying for the both. Later I got a call for an interview for BDS, that’s how I got into dentistry world. After a year of learning, I understood the importance of oral health more and not only teeth. Later, after I completed my dentistry from KIST Medical College and the Teaching Hospital, I was working inside the Kathmandu Valley. I had always wanted to work outside the valley to those areas where people can’t afford their treatment or had to walk several hours to meet their needful treatment. Thereby, I found Healing Hands Nepal, where they were working in the oral health care and treatment sector. My motive isn’t only treatment also to spread awareness about risk factors, their prevention and also see people’s/patients’ happy faces after distribution of toothpaste and toothbrush plus my treatment measures for them. Visiting different places and interacting with different people helps me know their lifestyle on different methods to keep their oral hygiene.

All in all, I want every people to have a cheerful smile.
