Agriculture is not only Nepal’s economic sector but a civilization. With only 20% of arable land, it is still the livelihood for 80 percentage of the population. But in over the decade due to mass labour migration, internal/external, in search of better economic opportunities, bisection of hilly areas are left barren. Women and elderlies left behind can hardly manage time for the fields that are literally collecting dust.
Our mission is here is to empower women and elderly to improve livelihoods of the rural communities through the promotion of environmentally and economically sustainable Agroforestry practices including organic farming technique. The faith installation in agriculture and the economic growth can bring the migrated youth back plus the farming technique in Nepal is still very conservative yet progressive that negates the Global Warming.
